Enrichment Coordinator

This position also provides back-up and support for the Enrichment Director and other enrichment
programming occurring at REC’s 15 program sites. The Enrichment Coordinator is also responsible for the
creation, upkeep, and restocking of the enrichment bins and check-out system. Enrichment bins are created
to be utilized at all learning levels with fun, engaging, and educational opportunities ranging from art,
theater, dance, STEM, and outdoor activities. These bins are created for elementary, middle, and high school level use.

Job Summary

This position also provides back-up and support for the Enrichment Director and other enrichment

programming occurring at REC’s 15 program sites. The Enrichment Coordinator is also responsible for the creation, upkeep, and restocking of the enrichment bins and check-out system. Enrichment bins are created to be utilized at all learning levels with fun, engaging, and educational opportunities ranging from art, theater, dance, STEM, and outdoor activities. These bins are created for elementary, middle, and high school level use.


Enrichment Coordinator Responsibilities

● Create and continuously update the menu of enrichment activity bins that programs check-out and

utilize for programming including restocking, purchasing, and overseeing the check-out system

● Inventory and manage the storage of all enrichment materials (bikes, yoga mats, skis, frisbees, etc.)

● Assist Enrichment Director in school year and summer program planning and structure

● Oversee and implement bus driver training program for REC staff

● Participate and add needed support for field trips

● Collaborate with program team to evaluate enrichment programming

● Organize and oversee the cleaning and upkeep of the enrichment storage area

● Manage and inventory donated equipment

● Be on site at programming each day

● Other duties as assigned


Qualifications


● Bachelor's Degree

● Proficiency in or capacity to learn Google Suite

● Experience working with at-risk youth beneficial

● Strong leadership and organizational skills

● Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Strong ability to multitask

● Capable of being flexible when needed

● Effective oral and written communication skills

● Bilingual skills beneficial, but not mandatory

● Ability to work occasional Saturday’s and other non-school days for outdoor programming and field trips


Position Details

● Full-time (40 hours per week)

● $19-$21/hr. Hourly compensation rate based on qualifications and experience

● Accrued 2 weeks PTO per year

● 2 weeks scheduled PTO, 1 week (5 days) in July, 1 week (5 days) in December

● Health Insurance (Organizationally paid) or Health Stipend

● $25/cell phone stipend

● Aflac (optional)
